These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Authority Engine, a LinkedIn content and authority-building platform operated by Mistral Forge Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales.
By accessing or using Authority Engine, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1.Who We Are

2.Use of the Platform
2.1
You must be at least 18 years old and acting in a professional capacity (as a sole trader or on behalf of a business) to use Authority Engine.
2.2
You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.
2.3
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
2.4
You must not use Authority Engine in any way that:
- Violates applicable laws or regulations
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- Introduces malicious code or attempts to disrupt the platform
3.Your Content
3.1
You retain ownership of the content you provide to us (including any voice, positioning, or expertise materials submitted during onboarding).
3.2
By submitting content to Authority Engine, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content solely to provide the service to you.
3.3
You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not infringe third-party rights, violate professional regulations, or breach any applicable laws.
3.4
We do not claim ownership of content generated on your behalf. Output content produced by Authority Engine using your inputs is provided for your review and approval before publication. You are responsible for reviewing all content before it goes live.
4.Intellectual Property
4.1
All intellectual property in the Authority Engine platform, including its systems, design, software, and methodology, belongs to Mistral Forge Ltd or its licensors.
4.2
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
5.Subscriptions and Billing
5.1
Authority Engine is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Pricing is displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
5.2
Payments are processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected billing cycle.
5.3
We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified of any price changes before they take effect.
5.4
We do not offer refunds for fees already billed. If you cancel, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
6.Free Trial
6.1
We may offer a free trial period. During any free trial, you have full access to the platform as described at the time.
6.2
We reserve the right to end or modify free trial terms at any time.
6.3
No credit card is required to start a free trial. If you choose to subscribe after your trial, you will be prompted to provide payment details at that point.
7.Cancellation
7.1
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within your account settings or by contacting us.
7.2
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods.
8.Our Obligations
8.1
We will use reasonable skill and care to provide the Authority Engine platform to you.
8.2
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform. We will use reasonable endeavours to restore access promptly in the event of an outage.
8.3
Content produced by Authority Engine is AI-assisted and is provided for your review. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content for your specific professional context.
9.Limitation of Liability
9.1
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mistral Forge Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of Authority Engine.
9.2
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
9.3
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10.Data Protection
10.1
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10.2
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
11.Changes to These Terms
11.1
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via in-platform notification.
11.2
Your continued use of Authority Engine after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12.Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
